Manterfield Building & Roofing
About us
A family firm since the early 80s, still serving local people in Barnsley with high-quality, cost-effective workmanship.
Our story
A family firm, run by the family.
Manterfield Builders was started in the early 80s by Craig's father, Colin Manterfield. Craig joined straight from school in 1989. The business has changed over the decades, but its core values haven't: we're still serving local people with high-quality, cost-effective workmanship.
We're a friendly, family-run business with over 30 years' experience in the trade. We take on projects of any size, from small home repairs to large commercial jobs, and customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us. Our polite, courteous and professional workforce will treat your home with respect.
Finding a general builder in Barnsley who is reliable, hard-working and reasonably priced can be quite a challenge. That's why, once people find us, they tend to stay with us. We're working hard to change the bad reputation general builders have.
