Check our work for yourself

After we've given you a quotation, we can find a similar project we've completed and arrange for you to contact that customer directly with any questions, for your own peace of mind.

Or visit one of our sites while work is in progress, speak to the customer and see our methods for yourself.

If you email us your plans, in many cases we can quote from the plans alone. If you'd rather, we'll arrange a site visit.

Your build, your choice

Where there are alternative methods or products we could use, we'll give you the option. It's your build, and you need to be completely happy with it.

From our first visit we get a feel for your build. For a modern, contemporary look we can advise on glass and chrome, bi-fold doors that make inside and outside one space, or a kitchen that becomes the family room. For a traditional build we'll keep the character of the property with older bricks, oak, natural slate and parquet flooring. A mix of old and new can look dramatic too. Whatever you choose, we aim to make it as bespoke as possible.

Planning permission

In 2008 the government revised the planning rules, so more household projects can go ahead without planning permission. You still need to follow the guidelines on size, design and position.

If you're unsure, your local planning office will tell you whether you need permission, and it's always worth getting that in writing. If you live in a listed building your rights are different, so check with your local authority first. The Planning Portal website is also very informative.
